DREAM AGAIN SUNDAY/pENTECOST SUNDAY
Welcome & Call to Worship: Pastor Jay Fast
Leader: In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth, darkness was over the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
People: Centuries before Jesus walked among us, the Spirit of God was promised to him, so that he would bring justice to the nations.
Leader: Jesus sent the Spirit of truth to teach us and give us peace.
People: At Pentecost the Spirit came, as the rush of violent wind and tongues of fire.
ALL: That same Spirit is among us now. Let us worship God!
Holy Spirit You Are Welcome Here
There's nothing worth more that will ever come close
No thing can compare You're our living hope
Your Presence Lord
I've tasted and seen of the sweetest of loves
Where my heart becomes free and my shame is undone
Your Presence Lord
Chorus:
Holy Spirit You are welcome here
Come flood this place and fill the atmosphere
Your glory God is what our hearts long for
To be overcome by Your Presence Lord
Your Presence Lord
Opening Prayer & The Lord’s Prayer: Pastor Jesse Bolinder
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy
kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us. And lead us not in to
temptation but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
Scripture: Acts 2:1-13

Spirit of the Living God
Spirit of the living God, fall afresh on me.
Spirit of the living God, fall afresh on me.

Spirit of the Living God, fall afresh on me.
Prayers of God’s People: Susan Knight
How Great is Our God
The splendor of the King, clothed in majesty
Let all the earth rejoice, all the earth rejoice
He wraps Himself in light, and darkness tries to hide
And trembles at His voice, and trembles at His voice
Chorus:
How great is our God, sing with me
How great is our God
And all will see how great
How great is our God
And age to age He stands, and time is in His hands
Beginning and the End, Beginning and the End
The Godhead three in one, Father, Spirit, Son
The Lion and the Lamb, the Lion and the Lamb
Name above all names
Worthy of all praise
My heart will sing, how great is our God

Acts 2:1-13
When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place. 2 And suddenly from heaven there came a sound like the rush of a violent wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. 3 Divided tongues, as of fire, appeared among them, and a tongue rested on each of them. 4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other languages, as the Spirit gave them ability.
5 Now there were devout Jews from every nation under heaven living in Jerusalem. 6 And at this sound the crowd gathered and was bewildered, because each one heard them speaking in the native language of each. 7 Amazed and astonished, they asked, “Are not all these who are speaking Galileans? 8 And how is it that we hear, each of us, in our own native language? 9 Parthians, Medes, Elamites, and residents of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, 10 Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya belonging to Cyrene, and visitors from Rome, both Jews and proselytes, 11 Cretans and Arabs—in our own languages we hear them speaking about God’s deeds of power.” 12 All were amazed and perplexed, saying to one another, “What does this mean?” 13 But others sneered and said, “They are filled with new wine.”
