FRIENDSHIP
The coffee is always on at HCC. Everyone gathers for coffee after worship, and the one-cup coffee station in the lobby is fully stocked during the week. The office is open M-F 9am-3pm, so stop in if you need anything! And whether it’s a game of pickle ball, a spaghetti dinner, coffee hour, project days, worshiping and volunteering, or serving on a mission trip, HCC is a place to find friendship, support, encouragement, and purpose.
SERVICE & MISSION: There is a place and a purpose for all of us! Whether it is reading Scripture on a Sunday morning, loading up donations to take to a food pantry, pulling weeds, praying for a student, volunteering in local schools and service organizations, sending cards of encouragement, or helping widows and orphans across the globe—HCC connects people with opportunities to use their time and talents in serving others.
GUYS: Younger men and dads in a similar season of life, who are looking for a place to connect, hangout, and grow together in Christ. We meet in homes, around fires, or sometimes for an outing or activity. The aim is mainly just connection, friendship, and simple sharing of our faith journeys over a question of the day or “compline prayers.” Contact Pastor Jesse if you are interested in joining one of these gatherings.
LADIES: Younger women and moms, mainly in middle season of life, often seek to connect, hangout, and grow together in Christ. This group is informal and tends to meet at a restaurant once a month or so. If you’d like to connect and sharing life and faith conversations, contact Pastor Jesse, and he can put you in touch with the current hosts.
FELLOWSHIP MEALS: Sharing meals together is a big part of HCC. There is food and fun at potlucks, picnics, dessert nights, and Sunday lunches after worship. There is even a Christmas Dinner by candlelight with live entertainment to invite adult friends and neighbors to.
